Everything that decides what's left this month

Safe to spend

One number for the days until payday

Rebus takes your balance, subtracts every bill due before payday, and tells you what's left. A day-by-day forecast shows the lowest point, so a tight week doesn't catch you out.

  • Set your own payday
  • Bills due right after payday are flagged too
Safe to spend card: 2 644 kr until payday on 25 October, 12 days to go, with a forecast that steps down as bills charge and its lowest point on 23 October.Safe to spend card: 2 644 kr until payday on 25 October, 12 days to go, with a forecast that steps down as bills charge and its lowest point on 23 October.

Budgets with pace

See if you're on pace, not just what's gone

Each category shows what you've spent against what you planned for the month. When one runs ahead, Rebus says how much less a day brings it back.

  • A weekly view for the day-to-day
  • Gentle heads-up, never a scolding
Where it's going: 3 160 kr spent this period, with a bar per category. Going out is 50 kr over its 1 000 kr budget and Other is 64 kr over; food and transport are under.Where it's going: 3 160 kr spent this period, with a bar per category. Bills and subscriptions

Every charge on a calendar

Rent, phone, insurance and the gym, laid out by the day they charge. Rebus spots recurring payments in your spending and suggests adding them.

  • A reminder two days before a charge, in the mobile app
  • Yearly cost of each subscription
Bill calendar for October with recurring charges marked on the 11th, 17th, 18th, 20th, 22nd, 23rd, 28th and 29th.Bill calendar for October with recurring charges marked on the 11th, 17th, 18th, 20th, 22nd, 23rd, 28th and 29th.

Savings goals

Pay yourself first, every payday

Pick how much goes to each goal per payday. Rebus counts it on payday and shows when you'll get there. Skip a payday when you need to. Didn't move the money after all? Remove it within seven days.

  • Rebus never moves money. You move it, Rebus keeps count.
Two savings goals: a three-month buffer at 20 500 of 50 000 kr and a Japan trip at 10 500 of 30 000 kr, each saving 2 000 kr per payday.Two savings goals: a three-month buffer at 20 500 of 50 000 kr and a Japan trip at 10 500 of 30 000 kr, each saving 2 000 kr per payday.

Net worth and investments

Accounts and investments in one number

Add your holdings and Rebus tracks your net worth over time. Mark an account as ISK and it estimates the year's schablonskatt.

Investments allocation: 42 000 kr across three holdings, Avanza Global 67 %, Investor B 26 % and Bitcoin 7 %.Investments allocation: 42 000 kr across three holdings, Avanza Global 67 %, Investor B 26 % and Bitcoin 7 %.

Categorization that learns

Categorize a shop once, and Rebus remembers

Your own choices teach Rebus where each merchant goes, so new transactions arrive sorted. If you turn on AI suggestions, they wait for your OK. Nothing changes without it.

Three suggested categories waiting for approval: Bolt to Transport, Foodora to Food + delivery and Espresso House to Going out, each with a confidence level and Reject or Apply buttons.Three suggested categories waiting for approval: Bolt to Transport, Foodora to Food + delivery and Espresso House to Going out, each with a confidence level and Reject or Apply buttons.

Ask

Ask about your own money

Ask a question in plain words and get an answer from your own numbers. It can draft a budget for you to approve, but it won't give investment, tax or legal advice.

  • Off until you turn it on
Ask answering “How much is left in my food budget this month?”: 459 kr of 900 kr, and about 25,50 kr a day keeps it on budget.Ask answering “How much is left in my food budget this month?”: 459 kr of 900 kr, and about 25,50 kr a day keeps it on budget.

Connect your bank, read-only

Rebus connects through Enable Banking, a regulated open-banking (PSD2) provider. You sign in at your own bank, and Rebus gets permission to read balances and transactions. Nothing more.

It can't move money
The connection is read-only. Rebus has no way to make a payment or a transfer.
Your login stays with your bank
You sign in at your bank, for example with BankID. Rebus never sees your login details.
Or import a file
Prefer not to connect? Export a CSV from your bank and import it instead.

Private by default

Your finances are yours. Here's exactly what that means in Rebus.

AI is off until you turn it on
Ask and AI suggestions each ask for your consent first. Turn them off any time in Settings.
Never used to train AI
What's sent to the AI provider isn't used to train models. We only use providers whose terms rule that out.
No ads, no selling data
Rebus is paid for by Rebus Plus, not by your data.
Export or delete any time
Download everything as JSON and CSV. Delete your account and it's gone for good after a 30-day grace period.
Stored in the EU
The app and database run in Railway's EU West region. AI requests, if you turn AI on, are processed by Anthropic, which may be outside the EU.
No tracking on this site
No cookies and no analytics here. The app itself only sets the cookies it needs to keep you signed in.

Questions

Can I use Rebus on my computer?

Yes. Rebus works in your browser today, and the iPhone and Android apps use the same account, so everything you add shows up in both.

Is Rebus safe?

Rebus only ever gets read access to your bank, and you sign in at your bank, not in Rebus. Your data is stored in the EU, travels encrypted over HTTPS, and is never sold or used for ads.

Can Rebus move my money?

No. The bank connection is read-only, so Rebus can't make payments or transfers. Savings goals only keep count; you move the money yourself.

Which banks can I connect?

Rebus connects through Enable Banking. You'll see the list of supported banks when you connect. If yours isn't there, export a CSV from your bank and import it.

What's free?

Everything except Ask, AI suggestions and automatic bank refresh, which are part of Rebus Plus. Free includes 3 Ask questions to try it.

How do I cancel Plus?

Cancel where you subscribed: in your App Store settings for the iPhone app, or from Settings in Rebus on the web. Plus stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.

Where is my data stored?

In the EU: the app and its database run in Railway's EU West region. You can export it or delete your account at any time.

Does AI see my data?

Only if you turn it on. Then your question and the figures needed to answer it, such as merchants, amounts and categories, go to Anthropic's Claude. It's not used to train models, and you can turn AI off in Settings.
